Has anyone had experience of using this combination? I would imagine it would be a case of the tail wagging the dog, all that hefty glass with nothing on the back of it.
I ask because I may be doing some long trips next year and something lighter than my K5 could be useful.
Thanks for any replies.

You do get 5000 Nectar Points though - that could probably buy you 10 cream buns (whatever they are)

Don’t worry Aura,
It’s just some of us (probably a very few!), have issues about how much post processing should be done to an original shot, (in say Photoshop), before it becomes something that doesn’t resemble the original. Examples – removing telegraph poles, painting the sky pink etc.
Dougf8 was referring to the fact that in pre-digital days all prints had to be developed in the Darkroom where it was possible to do some manipulation. Agreed. Or in their heyday, the Photo Re-toucher, who was a very skilled person that used to cost the advertising industry an absolute fortune.
It’s a discussion that will always rumble on

Notice you don't mention your location. Is this because you want to keep anonymous in those Streets just in case

Mac,
The 55-300 is a hidden gem. If I get some time over next week I will post some results eg shooting an air display in Poole from Brownsea Island and a Snipe on a river bank. In original frame both were a speck - cropped (that's all) magic results.

Tyro,
See my earlier comments. I have now sent an email to the techo's. Suggest you do the same so that they can see I am not the only one
