Apparently there are trees that grow in similar conditions in China which are decades old and are much sought after for Bonsai trees.
This looks like one of them!

Great mono shot Sean. The long exposure has brought out the reflections well.
I know they're tiny, but there are one or two dots in the sea when viewed large that need cloning out. Sorry for being too pedantic.

I do like this compo and your idea...but I must be honest with you....The person is hidden behind the arpa and foot on the right is almost a "naughty boy"entering into this wonderful compo....Imagine the face of the girl visible on the left of arpa(left for observers of the photo)while playing cords....and a superb BW conversion.... Otherwise a wonderful idea.

Nice composition but imho I think the black space on the left should go. I like the way the viewer is led right through the picture.
