Hopefully the programme will see my K200 as a K10 and let me have some fun.

thanks for the replies
i know how it works now
have not got a dslr yet
thinking about getting
k200 with 18-55 lens
and 55-300 for £500 from
jacobs in sheffield
is this a good price
neil
That will give you another £75 back (£25 for the 55-200lens and £50 for the body and 18-55 lens)

Sony, yes. Samsung, yes, but both were eventually sorted.
Still think it's just an excuse to mess with people's heads though.

Has it appeared on a Pentax site yet?
I would like to play using my K200 and laptop, problem is older versions don't see the camera, only my K110.

However, the M60 has Shake Reduction, so it should often enable you to use a lower ISO setting than you would have to use with the M50 that doesn't have Shake Reduction. Also the M60 is bound to be better in a few ways because it is a newer model.
I've been looking at these on line with a view to using one as a 'pocket' camera.
I'd be swayed towards the smaller count, but I would only be printing A4 at max!

ok cheers guys, the k200 has it, not used it but might muck abot with it.
When using it keep an eye on your focus indicators, the red square in the centre and green hexagon below don't always agree! but the shots still work.
Oh and scottthehat , could you fill in your location please?

It's not the cleanest Spotmatic but I bought it to go with my Zeiss lens, it didn't have one and the price was right.
Just for comparison here's a shot of the oldest and newest, in age, cameras in my growing collection.
The new K200d is the same size but heavier than the 1960s Spotmatic.
