Adaptor sounds good, just get a good one.

I didn't, I wish I had.

Thanks for the link Richard, it looks like I'll be ordering one for my pocket.

It will be a little easier to get those inside shots than with my DSLRs

Browsing the Ebay Pentax shop I came across this

Are there any users with advise, complaints, warnings about the camera.

Or should I just take the plunge?

Don't hold your breath womble, searching jessops site for anything Pentax is a bit of a let down.

If they have a body or lens in your local shop I'd suggest making a reasonable offer, otherwise visit SRS.

And check out canonman's posts.

What a narrow minded git, even Nikon owners are voting for the K20!

Hefty called the Mk1 a 'cheap' kit lens, he's right but the quality is far from 'cheap'

Many magazines rate the standard 18-55, in both forms, as one of, if not the best standard lens on any DSLR.

I would assume the latest 'light weight' version will uphold the reputation

Oh yes the Mk2 does have II on the front rim around the lens.

The External drive that died was an Iomega 1Tb unit bought from a reputable dealer locally.

They checked everything and only stopped short at removing the disk itself from the USB board, that would have messed up the warranty.

When the diagnosis was a dead drive they replaced the complete unit with a WD Lifebook of the same capacity.

I now have what's left of my photo's backed up on 3, yes 3 drives. The disk writing session should be this evening.

The resulting images certainly have a 'film' feel to them.

It's nice to see this sort of experiment, I should try something like it but time and family get in the way.

Well done Graham
