I know it's an old post but here's the update.

According to 2020, who import tammy lenses to the UK,the lens is working within the specified parameters.

!!!!

Still seems VERY soft at 250 and poor at locking on!

It may have to go!

Nothing here either, but I can access $1,000,000 if I give my bank details to a nice man in Spain!

Purely so that users can get 'fresh' power off the beaten track.

You just want to brag!

Back on OT, as John says, adaptors allow even older glass to be used, so anybody marketing a new camera brand would be wise to adopt a mount with so much usability.

The end result would sell to older film users and new digital users who had bags full of lenses they could use. Eventually LBA takes over and then...

Seems the Kmount could be around for a while yet.

What I want to know is how did you wire your ZX Spectrum up to the internet to get on here
That was easy, he just upgraded the memory from 16k to 1 meg, replaced the Z80 CPU with an Athlon quad core and found a replacement printad circuit board to take them.

Problem is it needed a new box....

A bit like Pentax have done over the last 50 years with the M42 mount.

First they got the mount sorted, then modified the way the camera body used it. In the 70s they introduced the K mount, which can (still) use old M42 lenses with an adaptor. The body has changed from a Brick (Spotmatic!) to a featherweight (ME super) and now to a digital one.

It's called progress, what keeps Pentax selling cameras is the fact that you can, but don't have to, use older glass.

Any way, I've seen plenty of adaptors to allow Pentax glass to be used on other makes, but non for Canon glass!

Long live Pentax and the K mount!!

Good point.

I've often mentioned other makes I own in forum threads, as have other members with no replies of "It's a Pentax forum dummy!"

In fact, a certain member on here keeps reminding us he has a Horseman (and bad back from lugging it around!)

But the one thing we all have on this forum is that we use and enjoy Pentax equipment.

Now where's that Zenit gone...

Chill guys, and lets ALL grow old disgracefully, very disgracefully.

My ambition is to live long enough to be a problem for my great grand kids...

Both the flying shots for me, the one landing is a very unusual angle which works well.
