The first thing my kids did when they got their houses was changfe the locks.

Honesty's house had been on the market for ages and had many visits, Shiney's house was a failed rental.

It just seems a sad logic to do it these days.

Social isolation has driven me to make use of a load of fencing beams and things from a neighbours old fence, I'm half way through building a gazebo...

I ahd a drive in the new car/van/whatever this morning, very easy to drive and surprisingly pleasant.

|I drove a lot of vans when working so the size wasn't a problem, comfort, now that's something the works vans didn't have.

We went to a local(ish) farm shop. Wow what a diffrence!

Although busy it was calm and there was no sin of panic buying, apart from the meat shortage. Apparently the store was struggling to get fresh stock because the supermarkets are grabbing it before the smaller retailers get chance.

Now it's the supermarkets that are panic buying!

Oh yes!

I feel frustrated and annoyed by the selfish, me me me attitude of a small minority (?) of people.

Why toilet paper? Why milk? And who has enough space to store/hoard the stuff that's selling out?

Local Aldi is now rationing, 4 of any one. Item only.

So I can't get 6 bottles of beer, my bag has 6 pockets.

Just back from the local supermarket, all I want is a bag of bread flour, can I find any?

As the lad on the check out told me " people thinlk their going to bake bread, but nobody's buying yeast!"

You couldn't make it up, I bake my bread, have done for well over 20 years, but now it looks like I may have to buy some, and all because there's a panic about not having enough food for crying out loud!!!

Our local Aldi only had 24 roll packs on the shelf yesterday..

...seems the older shopers can't carry them!

On the plus size, one of the staff helped an elderley couple out by carrying a pack to their car for them.

I used my phone camera in France last October, all well and good, but it didn't like getting wet.

Rain and motorcycles are a good way to kill mobile phones!

Fortunately I'd only backed up to google images and after drying out the phone worked again. The micro SD card needed replacing though, at £12 not cheap, and only 8gb.

Still if I will go touring at that time of year...
