That's what I like on this thread, subjects change and people discuss and learn.

Now where did I put my 'Floyd CDs...

An interesting pair of 'bitzas'.

They were probably put together from dead cameras in a workshop, what Asahi had to say about them would be interesting to know.

Are these in your collection now mowog?

Was it this page you found? Check the links at the bottom.

If this doesn't help all I can suggest is get a silver body and swap the black bits across, then sell the rest for spares.

Shutter faults are a pain on the 'M' series, and not easy to repair, unless you're an engineer!

Welcome from a West Yorkshire user.

You can find out about local meets in the local groups section in the general section of the forum page.

You beat me to the milk point Gwyn, and the cat food as well.

Just a point, if these guys are in your garden don't use slug pellets, poisoned slugs can harm the hedgehogs!

I've a couple of 28-80s from this range and find them good performers.

The best thing to do is wait until it arrives and then play.

After all, if you're not happy with the IQ you can always pass it on, probably at a good profit!

My Sigma 18-200 got soaked in March, something to do with heavy snow in Spain, and seems to have dried out OK.

I left it out in a warm room for a week or so without any problems, it's still as sharp now as it was before the soaking.

Just dry a wet lens slowly and it seems to be OK.
