Morning spent on knees finishing off the carpet laying in the kitchen.

There's a shop at the Junction 32 retail parknot too far from us that sells them, at more affordable prices.

We decided that when the new kitchen was finished we;d treat ourselves to some good knives so...

The three knives are a carver, a 17.5cm santoku and a paring knife. This site has them on, but their prices are double what we paid!

I could have got a DA35 f2.4 for the price, but you can't cut meat with a lens!!

Hope the fence firm's still going TT, it'll make life a little easier.

I'm with Algi on this one TT, a good fencer should be able to replace the posts and replank with the good lengths. He may need to buy some replacements, but the price for a repair should be a lot lower than the price for replacement.

I seem to recall that boundary fences in England are the joint responsibility of both parties, whether that applies to Scotland I don't know.

On a lighter note, my good lady and I went to the sales this morning, where all the people were is a mystery. We did spend a small fortune on 3 new kitchen knives.
