"I agree with Axel's observation that there are a lot of 'snapshot' type pictures being uploaded and accepted. I hope they do not lose sight of the quality requirements."
I have been amazed at the "snapshot quality" of so many of the submissions with no awareness of the quality of light or of visual impact. Landscapes are the prime offender.
The quality of the landscapes is in general poor, some of the still life shots lack 'focus' and as for the portraits.
I can't figure how some of mine get dumped while other people's submissions which are, to say the least, indifferent are getting accepted. Has the majority of the voter base altered to 15 year old chavs or something?

Crumbs - is Gwyn now the big ogre ?
Is anybody going out tomorrow night?
Or will it be a night in with a stiff drink and Jools Holland?

Just spent an hour looking for a box of 'Magic, the gathering' playing cards for my son. Well used time it was too, I found my A200S and A160 flashes, as well as 2 slave triggers!
Didn't find the Galaxy preset 28mm M42 lens though.
