I've been playing nurse for my better half, she's not been well and spent all day between the bathroom and bed. This evening she's managed to eat and keep down some cottage pie.
Fingers crossed...

One new battery and a bit of petrol and the Beema fired up first time!!!
Now to get the front brake freed off and book an MOT then insure and tax her and I can ride her again.

I distinctly remember something about spotting a beer...
I know it's early, but the celebrations start here, with a bottle of Banks's Bitter....

Now find old Pentaxs are worth a few bob and old Zenits are likely to be thrown at you.
It seems there are people out there who really do want the old Russian cameras!
I'm one of them...

If I wanted that type of image I'd shoot with one of my old film bodies, in monochrome, and then scan and submit. Indeed one of my old accepted shoots was done just that way.
Converting in camera/photoshop then 'colour popping' one section, while interesting, isn't what I need.
When I visit (regularly) I want to see good images, not pointless holiday snaps/portraits with no focal point/children images.
If I want them I'll go to Flickr!
