Model name (tentative): smc PENTAX-DA 50mm f/1.8
Unifocal standard lens for use with PENTAX K-mount digital SLR cameras
Maximum aperture of F1.8 for high-quality images with a superb rendition of depth and natural bokeh (out-of-focus) effect
Market launch scheduled for 2012
It looks like a 'budget' 50mm. Why f1.8 I don't know, but is somebody at Pentax listening to what we want?
When the DA35 was released we asked if it was the start of a more affordable range, looks like this is number 2 in that hoped for addition.
When it arrives at an affordable price and proves that it will sell what will we see next?

The independant channels are as bad, I noticed the same film on 4 different channels over 2 weeks!!
What ever happened to 'more channels means more choice'?
On a brighter note, literally, the suns out and it's a fine day.

I don't much care for games shows, soaps and the like, give me a good light drama.
Not the dross that's been on, in general, this evening!

Not on the bike though, the boss said " I did the Arctic circle 28 years ago that's enough, now I want comfort"
I'm not arguing, she's driving...

I'd forgotten you'd moved to Bergen.
The only thing I remember about there, apart from rain was the only Yamaha bike dealer for something like 600Km.
There was a nice little cafe overlooking the harbour, but where it is I forget, all I remember is 3 steps and a nice dry room with hot coffee and cake. It was 25 years ago.

Just had pheasant for our evening meal, cooked slowly with cider and sliced red onions, Fantastic.
What I can't understand is how come we couldn't get pheasants in season when the fields are over run with them!!
