ah That'll be Michael. I believe he's going to be at Whitby.
I believe the peeps can be seen at the bottom of the steps and near the swing bridge too....so weather permitting I shall probably be there
Sorry guy, and yes he will be in Whitby all weekend.

Black Sherlock ???
He also has a great sense of humour and dazzling smile.
He told me he'd been talking to 8 Pentax users last saturday and he was very interested to see what they'd got.

Some of us have to drive, mainly because I need to get home to the damaged boss!
Just out of interest did anybody at Saltaire last week get any pictures of the Black Sherlock look alike? I work with him and he'd very much like to see what you got, if anything.

Don't know where it all happens but the abbey is a good spot (so I'm told)
There's some parking by the abbey but how you get there I don't know, probably signed.
Yes it's a lot of steps up!! I did them a few weeks back and can confirm they're definately steps that go up...
...for an eternity!

My son is up for a trip to Whitby, he'll be in big boots, long leather coat and make up, and all being well we may meet some others he knows there!
I'm only going for the moody shots and to practice my portrait technique(which is currently non existant!!)

Clockwork is also widely used and novels often feature steam-powered 'beings'. Some of my favourite novels are steampunk, but I doubt I'd ever have the courage to dress up like that
