Yep... next thing you know you're bidding on an MEsuper because it's sporting a 1.7... Then you get a taste for 35mm film cameras... You buy a couple... Need lenses for them too... Suddenly you need an AF 35mm body and some nice F-glass to go with that... You have a shelf for camera stuff... You buy more and realize that the books now live in piles because the bookcase is now a camera/lens display unit... You walk to work as you spent your petrol money on a macro lens... Oh yes... Oh yes... 50 f2 is how it starts all right... 50 f2 is how it starts...

I was after a cheap 35mm as it happens, just not this one, which is much better than the one I had my eye on in another city.
It was also a touch more expensive, still...
