You have food left after a meal
He did says left over veg. Which isn't food.
Despite the best efforts of Lady HG and myself we had some veg left over, which is now in the stew and simmering on the stove.

The left over chicken went in sandwiches and I'm just about to do some Yorkshire puds to go with the stew...

....big ones that will take the stew and provide a good filling tea in this cold weather.

I just throw in some chopped celery, a few carrots, red and white onions and, of course , pork.

It's usually a couple of steaks from the freezer.

The left over veg from this evening will go in tomorrow to bulk it out, then a couple of large Yorkshire puddings to serve it in.

I'm feeling hungry already!!

It'll be chicken sarnies for lunch tomorrow, but no chicken at tea time.

That'll be a pork stew currently cooking slowly on the stove. We'll finish the chicken off on Wednesday.

Just noticed whilst looking at Holgas on ebay that the 'you may also' bit is featuring Canon DSLRs.....

....is this a comment on their image quality?

Although a 'vague' philosophy, the money men have now really moved in to lomography, old Russian P and S cameras are now getting expensive, I'll empty a few drawers and see what I have...

Hmm. Am I the only one who finds my phone impossible to use as a camera? There seems to be a time lag of several ice ages between pressing the shutter and the picture being taken.

Normally by the time the shutter sounds (not a real shutter, obviously) the thing I was trying to capture has become extinct.
I'm with you on this one , my HTC is a cracking phone with all singing camera...

.....ideal for tree, floor, wall or anything else shots.

If I try and take an image of anything else it takes far too long. I know OOF and blur are part of lomography, but not images of the floor when it's supposed to be a dog!!

I have several of the inside of my pocket too!

One of my first cameras was a Prinz 110, cheap, plastic and optics so vague, yet it went around Scandinavia and saw an awful lot of use.

Now that 110 film is available again....

Long time no see, welcome back Mac.

As far as I recall everything you have will work on the latest bodies.

Just make sure she gets the 18-55WR with the K30, that way wet weather won't worry her.
