I use Energiser Lithiums in my K200D and consistently get 800+ shots out of a set. Never bothered with re-chargeables, it's easier to lug a spare set of lithiums around rather than a charger etc when I'm travelling.

Hopefully this is nationwide otherwise I'll look silly, but just noticed in my local Asda (Bolton) that Energiser Lithium AA 4-packs are on offer at half price; £3.97 per pack. Well worth grabbing a few if it's the case near you

Av mainly, occasionally Sv for fast movers etc but I find that Av is the one that gives me the shots I want most of the time.

Think this has been touched on in some of the K-7 discussions, but it seems to me that a lot of people think that the next body/system upgrade will lead to a quantum leap in the quality of the pictures they take. In the meantime I'll carry on trying to figure out how to make the best of my existing kit - I'm of the opinion that any shortcomings are mine and not the cameras

To be honest, it's just nice to find a supplier who is a) knowledgeable about the Pentax range and actually stocks most of it and b) gives a decent price on them! Service is cracking too!
