Really well taken images, the detail in them is amazing. One very small point, if you have cropped the first one, would it be posible to include the last little bit of the jaw?
Thank you Barrie ! Actually the whole jaw is included in the cropped version but the border now covers over part of it and I'm not sure how that happened, I think I must have uploaded the wrong version, because I went back to amend it when I noticed my mistake. I'll correct that - thanks for pointing it out !Really well taken images, the detail in them is amazing. It's a lovely series and isn't it thrilling when you find them .... that electric bolt of blue that you know instantly is the CKF ?

Another K5 question, I have had my K5 for a few days now, does anybody else get annoyed with the locking button on the mode dial.

Absolutely not Dave !Another K5 question, I have had my K5 for a few days now, does anybody else get annoyed with the locking button on the mode dial.
Dave.
For the first week or two it was a pain, now I change modes without even thinking about the lock - it is now just an automatic action to depress it whilst turing the dial.
And you will be very thankful for it, nothing worse than firing off some shots and finding you are in a different mode and didn't get the result you expected (especially if the scene is unrepeatable) or wondering why everything seems to have gone haywire when in fact the mode dial has been nudged onto something else.

Very nice - a sure sign of spring. It looks more like Forsythia than Wintersweet to me.
Me not being noted for my 'green fingers' you had me running off to Google Forsythia .. and I do believe you are absolutely correct !Very nice - a sure sign of spring. It looks more like Forsythia than Wintersweet to me.

Very interesting shot SC. We have the same bushes over here, I believe it is Chimonanthus praecox, sometimes commonly called Wintersweet

As some people commented the border of the original image, mistakenly posted, intruded slightly on the Wolf's jawline, the replacement above is the version I had intended to post. Thank you.
