Thanks Harisf1 and i never checked the file format in the camera or remembered to change it to DNG

just picked up a k1 mk ii yesterday with a shutter count of 405 actuations including battery grip and boxes etc
it was reset to factory
after the long drive home. i played with the settings just to familiarise myself with it
Today i went out and took some photos for the weekly comp sculptural detail, i was blown away by the rear screen detail. i now can see the images clearly so can delete on demand unlike the screen in the K70, which I'm not knocking its just my old eyes.
all exited i came home and loaded the new raw files into the iMac
Guess what , i forgot to format the SD card to my K1 so no photos loaded so i formatted the card in the K1 and it deletes everything
i was just to excited
i still entered the comp with a photo from the k70

When I squinted my eyes,it made me think B but you’ve already suggested that 😆
I’m probably incorrect 🤦‍♂️
Interesting though , which is it?

Engine change Crossed, I hope you have a decent sized garage (it’s that time of year )😀
I was a passenger in an opel manta 3litre rally prepared around the same period mid late 80’s on a closed road I didn’t have to do anything as the driver knew the stretch like the back of his hand
From that day on I know why they strap one in so tightly 😱😱😱
I kinda knew also that I’d never make it as racing driver 😅😅

Nice collection of photos Crossed up
Must admit always had a soft spot for the GTI mk2 golf 16valve
My brother had one with all the bells and whistles done , the head , suspension etc all carried out by the previous owner
It was calypso green and mint with low mileage example
He got married and the baby used to get sick in the back
So it had to be sold he made 1500 extra than he paid for it originally because of the full comprehensive history and the upgrades carried out by the specialists back in the day in the UK it was probably about 1985
Would loved to have bought it alas I was just that bit young for such a car
Sorry for going on a bit and I must find a few photos of it

Continuing from Flan's comment, if you had a face like the back of a bus (heaven forbid) then that might win twice too.
That could work also David but I’m far to handsome for that to qualify in both comps
Now if I was a handsome bus driver on the other hand, then a self portrait when at work would qualify
The only thing is , I might not be able to operate the steering at the same time taking that photo of my handsome self
Mind you many selfies are taking in such disregard for safety 🤳

A self portrait , on public transport means you can enter both comps with one photo and possibly win twice
just kidding PRYork

The woken , have taken over the asylum

Ones intentions can be misinterpreted or misconstrued so easily today and can quickly escalate
I don’t do Facebook or any social media for those reasons . I like forums for what interests me and like minded people
I do love a good street photo and there have been some genius ones from the past and even from the present.
Best of luck to you Gareth

It’s contentious photographing people when they are unaware
I know you’re intentions were honorable, but the world is so litigious today

Number 6 was also a no from myself as it’s a intimate moment and I know it is only suncream he is applying and is harmless but to upload photos so recently taken in this social media driven world could cause you some problems

Street photography has the same problem and is why you see so much ICM, or intentional blur to avoid the subject from instant recognition.

I might be a bit odd ,when I say I do not like being photographed even though I love taking Photos of places and people

I have of course now been photographed and video graphed many times I imagine with mobile devices and posted online and I’ll probably never see one of them.

It’s just not like it was in times gone bye
