Weekly #738 Discussion

As we have a no-show for our last week's judge, and we hope all is well with him, I have now posted a new competition to run for a little over a week, "Public Transport". Hope that stimulates some interest and we get lots of great entries!

John - it now looks like last week's competition winner has posted a new competition alongside the one you stepped in to set up. We now have 2 weekly competitions running!

A self portrait , on public transport means you can enter both comps with one photo and possibly win twice

So I see, and it's due to end tomorrow, which is of course why we need to set competitions as promptly as we can. It's a bit late, so I'll see if we can take it off and I'll explain to the judge.

Continuing from Flan's comment, if you had a face like the back of a bus (heaven forbid) then that might win twice too.

That could work also David but I’m far to handsome for that to qualify in both comps
Now if I was a handsome bus driver on the other hand,then a self portrait when at work would qualify
The only thing is , I might not be able to operate the steering at the same time taking that photo of my handsome self
Mind you many selfies are taking in such disregard for safety 🤳

Such fun from an unpromising start - we will be told off err long because it should be in "another pointless thread".

I was going to suggest that a comment in this thread should be paid for by entering a picture in the competition, but I should be careful what I wish for. I might end up still writing the judging at 3 in the morning in a week's time......
