All great shots, 4 is really cool but there is something about six that I really like

thanks Kris, both taken using the fa31 with the first a 4 image stitched shot. They are the typical shot when photographing these mines but when you are there you just gotta

Situated in the West of Cornwall stands the remains of the historic Botallack Mine. Tin, copper and arsenic were mined from the granite coast and here it was renowned for the many tunnels that extended out beneath the ocean floor up to half a mile.

The images below show the engine houses at Crown Mines.

Sadly in 1863 the chain which pulled the mine gig suddenly broke, leaving eight men and a boy to plummet their deaths down the shaft.

If you ever find yourselves down in the south west with a camera its well worth a visit (warm days recommended) you may even see Ross Poldark

some interesting portraits there and its nice to see they looked relaxed and natural for you while taking them.

Life was so much harder on my K10d using the hack program and having to remember the values for different lenses as it only saved the one setting.

Maybe someone has a magic method that makes calibrating easy, I always never feel confident I have nailed it but use my lenses mostly at small apertures so never really notice a problem.

I don't think its that unusual, mine had a +3 but my 43mm had +8 on my old K3. They are better behaved on my new body but so long as they are sharp on your K3 after adjustment I wouldn't worry. The option would be to sent both lens and camera off for re-cal. but that maybe a bigger risk. How are you finding it? I am using mine as a full time landscape lens at the moment but hope to get something a little wider at some point. It performs really well for me I just wish it were WR rated with the weather we are having.

I had a similar problem after being asked for a print. My frames were £27 with a double mount and the prints were 16x12 giclee costing £14. If I had to pay a fee of £15 on top then a total cost of £56 would leave me out of pocket also. I didn't charge a lot for the print in the end but be assured when I am dead I am sure they will be sitting on a fortune

I don't know what others charge but it does seem a hard way of making a living unless there is some secret I am not aware of.

The GX10 is not a bad idea, it was really the same camera omitting only the PEF file option. One thing we have as Pentax users in DNG as standard which I hear many a camera owner wish they had. It is an idea if the price is right
