Oh I love those web sites. It has been something I have been trying to do for a long time. I have been playing with Java Script and CSS to try to develop a site. I try to do everything for free and I could not find a way to tell a story with pictures.

What I wanted was at least a pair of pictures auto changing with text as I wanted before - after, summer - winter, overview - close-up etc. I have tried to develop a format so I can vary one, two or three images per frame of the slide show.

However I have had problems adapting the page to show on different screens from Iphone to PC with wide and narrow and putting in the pictures is a slow process.

Here is an example I will admit not all taken with Pentax K10D some were with a Nikon D7000.

I have a series of old lenses 28mm f2 near manual, standard 18 - 55mm only modern lens, 95 - 210mm near manual, 400mm f6.8 pre-set fully manual.

Tripod, set of cheap close up filters for standard 18 - 55mm, reversing ring for 95 - 210mm (zoom becomes focus and focus becomes zoom), An old bellows handy to use 400mm at less that 10 foot. Pair of old flash guns one low voltage to go on camera other high voltage works with flash triggered remote. And some old filters no longer used in digital age. Only now use sky light to protect lens and polarising.

Nikon has 18 - 270 Tamron but hardly use that too complicated for me.

I love close up and macro. The 95 - 210 when reversed if I stop down has a lighter area in the centre so either use wide open or use cropped section missing out centre.

Member of Mold Camera club, Use push bike and bus to get out taking pictures bus handy as can just walk in one direction but my pass only covers Wales.

That about tells all.

I am an old Photographer restarting in the digital age. Selected Pentax as was a Ricoh user and all my old lenses will fit the Pentax K10D. Now had it about 4 years and when I changed PC wanted to reinstall software.

looking on the Pentax website I saw the remote assistant 3, which says with a Pentax K10D with firmware up-grade to 1.31 it will allow me to control the camera from the computer.

To start with I could not find the lead as I rarely down load direct from camera I normally take the card out and pop it in PC but when I did find it the software did not seem to see the camera.

I tried using direct in case it did not like hub and tried standard down load in case fault with lead which worked.

As far as I am aware nothing else I have uses that lead so very unlikely I have the wrong one.

So next is to see if it works with other Pentax owners. I had hoped to be able to use it to take remote pictures of birds and insects in the garden.

Has any one else used the software and if so where there any problems?
