Thankyou John and Andrew. I too prefer the second crop it does lead the eye better not sure about taking some off the top that sky is lovely and it will lose that orange to the top left corner??

Pure Wrong

Fair point chris its just rather daunting for me someone who hates analysis (flunked my art humanties at school for it) but I shall try to take as much time as I can to look more and comment to the best of my ability in future.

What offending comments?????? I just dont get this everyone is saying we should have proper constructive critisism right?? But what I and I think Bob is trying to say is if some people want to just say nice shot its up to them surely?? I for one am guilty of this I agree but I do not feel qualified enough to give a full critique I am only a beginner and do not understand some of the technical side of things I will say if I feel something is out of focus or noisy thats about it. I just dont get what all this arguing is about.

I was just pondering!!!! This bitch fest forum does not encourage any new people to continue so where are the future pentaxians and the future of this site? I have always held this site in high regard and have found it to be very valuble in the learning process and i have made some good friends along the way. But this is stupid,people should be able to say what they want and not to be bullied or penalised for not giving a full critique on any shot I am not saying this is good/bad thing as I highly value the critique, I have received CC on certain shots it does help one progress. I feel very sorry for anyone who wishes to take up photography as a hobby and join this forum.

I could not agree more, its just all this bitching and sniping at eachother tahts getting beyond a joke. I f someone Andrew thinks its fantastic let him say that I dont see why he getting punished for saying what he feels if he dont want to go into detail thats his decision surely???????
