If that's what people want to spend their money on, that's up to them.

Condemning it is similar to saying that Pentax should not have made the coloured KXs purely because an individual does not want one.

Ems - I don't think I'd describe it as pure anything .

It's a monstrosity, fit only to be in a display case to show how you can maltreat a camera.

Imagine trying to hold it ??

Well, you haven't heard my view yet!

But, reluctantly, I am forced to agree.

Did the writer of that article escape from the 1950s? Their attitudes to gender seem to date from around then!

I can't say I've noticed any Pentax being difficult to use, even the MX is an absolute doddle if you can read and understand a brief article on depth of field and how to use it. The marketoids seemed to get the idea that the K-m was specially designed to be simple and gave it to some real airheads (including one Youtube "review" where they actually commented on the chrome strip around the body without once showing a sample photo!) which is highly unfair. It deserves better than that.

Great camera!
Shame about the body finish, but I could probably scrape those crystals off...
Say 80% off list to account the damaged body & I'd be tempted to upgrade my trusty k100d.

As it is I thick its likely to make finding controls more difficult, and the look is c**p.

Wrong, unlike the Harlequin Kx which was adorable genius.

I suspect the article was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, the author having come to the same conclusions about this... event... as we have!
