I see that many seem to have some problems in low light auto and manual focus. Use this; always focus with the longest range of your zoom lens then zoom out to the zoom setting that you want to use. Ie. 18 -85 lend focus at 85 zoom out to 18.....same for any lens. Works well.

There is a museum in a little county village where I live that has many tractors on display and some even work as they restore them. I think they have one of these that even work

I got the KM in the form of the K 2000 )same camera) as it was the best in the price range that I was looking at and it even was better than a Nikon that was the same price, better view finder...and as it could use any K mount lens was wonderful.

Yes there is a Bulb setting in Manual only. A small silly mistake on Pentax for not having a means of locking the shutter open with a first press and a second press of the shutter utton to close the shutter. It looks like the remote is the way to go with a cloths peg or something to keep the butten depressed.

I have a question? How does one lock the shutter open in the ’Bulb’ setting on a K-M. I wanted to do a long night sky exposure and wanted to open the shutter for a extended time longer that the camera can do by itself.

I just load down my new photos to the same folder and from there move the, to the subject type folders and that is it. I have folders for each month club compertition and do my editing of the photos in that folder.

Another way to do things.
