Lastly enjoy your new TOY, and don't worry about it's x or y as sometimes people really care about names as for me, I used Minolta for years I went to Pentax as it was a great price.

Not an fan of CANON or NIKON, but just read that their is a new application "Original Data Security Kit OSK-E3" for Canon professional EOS system "Verification Kit DVK-E2, the Original Data Security Kit OSK-E3 can detect whether an image has been changed since it was captured by the camera. In addition to data verification, Original Data Security Kit OSK-E3 supports image encryption for protection of critical images." from http://www.dpreview.com/news/0702/07022207eos1dmarkiiiaccs.asp
I wonder if we will see a similar application as it looks an interesting feature.

it gives the look, but doesn't damage your DSLR etc.

As you can see in the newsletter which i got a few sections ago it features "Pentax K10D review -- The results from our monster test of the Pentax K10D, which is set to give models from the bigger brands a run for their money," which hopefully will be good on the start of the PRESS treating us well.
Best wishes

Unsure if their is a distributor of this RING light in the UK but worth checking out http://www.phoenixcorp.com/Flash/TTL_Auto_Focus_Infrared_Flash/RL-59_Series_Auto... they advertise for sale in various US camera magazines and thus might be an option as well.
Good luck, I am saving up one for their digital equipment once it comes available.
Best wishes,

Living in Canada I noticed the Pentax 100 mm Macro lens at Henry's is selling for CD$ 549.99 on-line @ http://www.henrys.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ItemsDisplay?itemID=133252&s...
and the Tarmon 90 mm Macro lens at Henry's is selling for CD$ 649.99 @ http://www.henrys.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ItemsDisplay?itemID=132354&s...
Thus wondering what the real difference is between price as I still have a long way before I can go out purchase either of these pieces of glass as I still paying for my new NOTEBOOK I got before Christmas.
Thanks,

I started shoting RAW because I was just shooting so many images when working JPEG and thus wanted to force myself to slow down a bit, when i purchased a notebook before Christmas this past year.
Because having the Pentax *DSI L2, I had shot over 4,000 and was starting to wonder if they where just take me because I am free sort of think because before this my largest number of images was in Shanghai in July 2004 for one week I shot over 200 prints.
Thus it worked, and now I back to using my tripod etc, and starting to enjoy fooling around with the digital world.

If you live near a CAMERA STORE go in and look at their options and feel which one is best, and remember 1/4 for new stuff.
Hope this helps.
