... as autumn approaches. Hardcastle Crags, near Sowerby Bridge, is a lovely place to be. Light and dark are everywhere to be seen and that's what I tried to capture here. K70 + DA 55-300 PLM. Hope these appeal!

Capture light and dark you certainly have. I particularly like 3, 4 and 9. I have tried similar shots to these myself but never with the stunning results that you have achieved.

All beautiful shots; I paused at number 8 for a long time - my favourite, closely followed by 12 and 10. Very relaxing!

I enjoyed those.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Some lovely shots there. No 5 has a painting quality to it and I also like both the fern shots.

Nice selection - always enjoy "light through leaves" and water reflections, looks like you had an enjoyable walk

Thanks for all your comments! Always interesting to see different choices of "favourites" - my own "best" choice would be no.5 - the ripples and movement of the water seem to produce a kind of impressionist feel, if that's not being too pretentious! A pity the effect is also upside-down!

Light, shadows, reflections, water... what's there not to like? Nice set John, I'm with you on 5.
