leytono - where did you see 7 for £50?
Comment by Donut posted on Which version of Elements at 19/06/2009 - 18:37
So which version do I go for?
Clearly the latest version (7?) will have the most features but is it that much better than 6,5 or even 4?
Can I save myself a few quid by getting an older version?
What are the additions for each version?
Cheers all

Hope this has worked.
These were taken in Cardiff Bay one evening using just ambient light - no flash, hand held, jpeg straight from camera no editing.

I will let you all know if it's sold or not.
Moderators - This thread does seem to have been a little hijacked - any chance the serial number stuff could be put onto a seperate thread with an appropriate heading as it is all interesting useful info and the discussion could be continued long after the lens has gone?

Worth checking if the hire company have reported the number plates as being stolen previously as it is difficult (but not impossible)to get plates nowadays as you need to provide ID, proof of ownership of vehicle etc, it is easier to steal them from the same make and colour as your own vehicle. Unless a hire car employee had some spares made...
I don't want to promote this activity just make people aware that it is VERY EASY to clone number plates
