You know what? That last post of mine was unduly harsh. When one is trying to be funny ANYTHING goes....but that was just mean.
I apologize.

I researched my equipment (including visiting this forum) BEFORE buying equipment.
Made sure it would fit my needs.....
"Not too sharp" would in my opinion describe a business person that drops a thousand bucks on a tool that won't do the job.
"Not too sharp at all" aplies to the guy that after, wasting a thousand bucks goes around drawing attention to his own mistakes.
I guess now that digital takes the photofinisher out of the equation, some people have only thier equipment to blame for lousy photos......

Sad to say that I have lenses that are sharper than me...what woman would want to pose in front of a lens that'll pick-up every hair, wrinkle, and pore?
How many dpi do magazines print at? and heaven forbid, newspapers?
Sure sharp can be good but aren't we just splitting hairs?

Nice shot. My kids just watched a movie called "The Polar Express".
I think if you read the other thread about adding snow to an image, and maybe some lens flare off the headlight, you won't need to buy any Christmas cards this year....just an idea that popped into my head as i looked at your train.

sadly I feel your pain. I too am dyslexic.
They can make everyone put up access ramps for physically disabled but they do nothing for people with learning disabilities.
I'm thankful I'm not terribly low functioning.

Yes Mac angry wives must be avoided at all costs.
Here's my advice...get a dog.
My dog is a black border collie named Sasha. She is more of a Borderline collie, but her sanity is another matter. She has a beautiful, large, insulated dog house with wall to wall carpet, and a tv. Next year she'll get Ac and a beer cooler. My dog lives in the lap of luxury, not because I like to spoil her but rather because I know sooner or later I'll be out there in the doghouse with her.
2 reasons why the doghouse is better than the couch?
1. the kids don't jump all over you while you're sleeping...
2. it brings me comfort to know that no matter what I've done there's at least one bitİh in this world that's ALWAYS happy to see me....

Even if you found a lenscap, wouldn't light comming thru the viewfinder be sufficient to set your meter off?
Maybe one of those holster style fanny/hip pak camera bags would be a better idea. I like Lowepro brand myself...
