crazy week.

http://www.drycreekphoto.com/icc/using_printer_profiles.htm

skimmed this article...hope it helps.

I'm sure if the icc profile is mac compatible, all you need to do is drop it in the right folder on your mac and select it when exporting the file from your editor program.

now, damned if I can remember which file folder.....

they are handy....for fill and wireless.

now if I were going to design one...
well imagine a ping-pong ball, on top of a short extendable antenae....

what really ticks me off is the fact that you can't get a shoe mount flash with a built-in lcd panel in front of the flashtube... for changing the color balance of the output.

the only issue is copyright.
If somebody photographed one of your photos and started selling it for commercial gains......
so what constitutes fair use? editorial, social commentary, and such.
If somebody photographed a group of people reacting to one of my photos, with my photo prominent in the image, and used it for say, a magazine artical, in good taste, I'd drop 'em a thank you note.
If used offensivily, I'd drop em a cease and decist letter.
if they just photographed it and started selling thier photos as postcards, or advertising a product......well they'll either pay me alot of money, or they'll be paying some lawyers alot of money...but they won't profit from it, if there's anything I can do about it.

Hey I was looking through my library and found the weirdest thing!

"Understanding Exposure, revised edition"
by
Bryan Peterson

What a coincidence!
(Gerri buys the weirdest things!)

I never woulda thought of that.

If I was gonna write a book...
I'd charge $50.00.
I'd call it "Indecent Exposure"
It'd have one page. printed on the back of a grey card.

Wow this is wayyyy better than my diet book idea, which was 365 pages of rice paper with instructions to eat one page per day......

Well isn't this a prediciment.
We Canadians have love the Britts, and the Yanks....like family.
But like all families, we'd prefer if you stayed home.....your homes!

Perhaps Our American friends can take a lesson in diplomacy from us Canadians who have maintained our soverienity from BOTH American and British Attempts....

We tricked them into thinking we were FRANCE!

We invited Quebec to join us....posted signs everywhere in French and English...
The Britts let us go, and....

When the Americans invaded, they thought they got lost and wound up in France. So they turned around and went home.

Oh, well enough history....

So Happy Fourth of July!

or did you order the lightsphere, and leave it in the box, so you could get some free bubblewrap to use as a diffuser?

ouch...I think I just popped another brain cell....

with my trusty k10, I'm not going to be worrying too much about film.
for me it's just a question of wether or not I can resist the urge to yell out "SMILE!"....

not really a crime! I was looking at this other forum....http://pentaxworld.com/forum/index.php?topic=2983.msg18518#new

seems like bad advice being given...
one of the responses to the post was to look at the view of a hand at arms length with two different zoom lenses to prove there isn't much difference between a 200 mm fov and a 300 mm fov.

The posters obviously have no clue that focal length actually changes on these zooms to accomodate closer focussing.....
Is it worth joining a forum, you're not really interested in, just to tell somebody they're wrong.... or do I need to join some kind of 12 step program?
