Ah Leslie Welch.
I use dates in the form y/m/d some with the venue added, the folders are saved by years on external hard drives. On the 20th the folder was 20101020.

K100D and 70-300 sigma APO

I have the same sigma and find it very good at f8-11.There's only you with knowledge of the circuit, it may be possible to get close enough to use a 50mm.

I bought it refurbished from SRS, so I don't think theyd cover it now (6 month warranty).
It might be worth a call to Chris.
