Thanks for that, but I am a great believer in "if it aint broke don't fix it"
I have no issues with my K5 and that has not been updated by me.

It was unavailable because I bought it.
Many thanks to LochNess for the link to the K-5ll where I saw the K-5lls for just £20 more.
It arrived today and I can confirm it is new although I have not checked the shutter count.

My K10D died a couple of weeks ago, the shutter will not fire. I checked the shutter count and the last image was numbered 39149. The good news is I managed to get a K-5 11s from Jessop's.
But S115K does not work so I will stick to DOIK

That's a lovely shot John. Since my earlier post I've been to Lanchester and sure enough there was no snow on the hills but there was icy slush beside the road on a country lane.

PS: I take it the BDH stands for Braes of Derwent Hunt.

Correct David,BDH is an abbreviation for the Braes of Derwent Hunt. The last time I saw them was about twenty five years ago. I covered a few country lanes trying to guess the direction the hunt would go. It worked out well and I got more photos than I had hoped for.
