Ok, just to demonstrate that what you are stating as fact is actually (biting my tongue here) incorrect, Here is an example, one shot with a 15mm ltd the other with a 70-200mm lens, you should be able to see that its not possible to replicate either shot with the the other lens.

15mm first

Its kind of noticeable the difference isn't it. These were taken the same day and within minutes of each other, not that that would affect the images.

1st shot was with a 30mm lens not the 15mm ltd.

As far as i know, amazon would be making payment to seller. Seller would never get your card details.
I think the scam part is in the please contact us before ordering bit, as in if you were to contact them they would probably ask to deal direct with them and cut amazon out of the picture altogether and you would lose any protection you would have otherwise.
I could be wrong but i think youll find that a payment request was never sent to amazon from seller.
