Just out of interest, ate the Adaptall II lenses like the Pentax A series type ?
I have an Adaptal , version I type I presume, from the early 1970s, but there's no aperture control from the camera. ..... With the lenses set to its A 'auto' position (not the aperture ring, it's a switch), it behaves like a K or M lens on the digital slrs.
It would be great to have access to Tamron Adaptalls with aperture control from the cameras, if that was available with this adaptor.

Thanks Derek, I don't have any lenses that can use it yet, but I will start to look out for the Adaptall II types now.

To show the difference, this is a Tamron Adaptall PKA mount (mounted on a Tamron 105mm f2.5)

It does indeed transmit aperture info to the camera.
