Nicely shot.
Colourful chappie compared to the black and white zebra jumping spiders we have.

Thats weird Algi, as upload files were 1.6mbs 2.03mbs and 394kbs in that order, but if the site software reduces file size on upload, then there really shouldn't be an issue with data, slow internet or any of the other issues that were pointed out in the earlier posts.

I have a really crappy monitor, its so old i cant update the drivers and the colour profile is out. its fine in ps but all photo viewers are slightly of whack colour wise, so its hard for me to tell.
The next lot of photos I do I will give this method a go.

Has anyone got a link to a free download of a stacking program.
Dont want to just search in case i end up on a dodgy site.
So preferably from a site that you have used before thats safe to download from.
Cheers
Derek

Mmm as I usually link through flickr apart from gallery uploads, I wonder is it worth it. Algi can you see a difference between the last 2 as they have both had bicubic sharper saving method. Might be worth doing it that way instead of just reducing file size.
Good thread lots of interesting points and learning curves.

I can't see anything in it either Nigel, on this site.
Unless viewing actual image on my pc. As I try to zoom in on it the 1000 px one falls apart as I zoom in.

Ok i have just edited an image and saved it a couple of ways to see how this works, just posting here to see if there's much of a difference

1st one my normal way from a 17.5mb image 6000 px long side

2nd one saved for web, quality 40% to get the file size down low enough, bicubic sharper, 6000 px long side
