A couple of wonderful macro there. I like the lighting and the subject plus your focus is spot on.

I have to agree, these are great. Normally I don't like black backgrounds on macro shots, but in this instance it works very well.

Cheers Guys, the black background is a result of the flash, and is un-intentional, but welcome in these anyway.
They're much smaller than I thought

Love these images especially the first shot. For me the dark background works, it gives the insect a monstrous look as if emerging into some ones nightmare. The subtle colouring of the leaf and its shape adds to the image capped by your focus which is spot on where it needs to be. Great to see yet more amazing images of this quality on our forum.
