Did you need to brace yourself against the castle wall? 300mm at 1/400th of a second with Pentax in body stabilization and a steady hand any decent lens, like the two you mentioned, could handle this. Nice picture and point of view. David PS I visited this railway for the first time in August. Must post one of my train pics from there.
