Exquisite Andrew. Is there a better title than feather and string? Something that suggests a dance like 'The Last Waltz' or 'Pas de deux'? David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout:

Cynical or not it's a classy image Gary, artistically executed as always. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

I loved the A1s second only to the A4s when British Railways ran them on front line express trains. And I love the new Tornado. This a classic shot of it Cliff. I can't speak for your Tamron lens, but your K5 will stand a bit of rain. Mine has got soaked several times, so has the K10 without any problems. At first I thought it was picking up water at troughs Peter, then I realised it was the injector overflow. Very nice shot, the injector steam gives an impression of speed. You're right about the K5 its better at higher ISO which you need with a fast moving subject. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

The Duchess did a lot of blowing off at Carlisle later John. It was held up for ages by a conked out freight train on the main line. Lovely action shot. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

The loco had 12 on, including the support coach. I got a shot of it later in the day at Carlisle. That's a fine action shot of the now-green Duchess Cliff. Must say I preferred it in red. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout
