An unusual but very interesting shot.
I can't decide if I like the asymmetrical aspect or not; part of me thinks I would have preferred it to be symmetrical.... :wink: +1 from me and on balance I too would prefer it to be symmetrical. But its a fascinating image.

Wonderful period piece Andrew, it just needs Miss Marple to come pedalling past on an old fashioned bicycle with a basket on the handlebars.
At least the intruding building on the left looks suitably vintage so it doesn't offend me.

Its a lovely timeless scene of a GWR branch line Philip, excepting perhaps the modern architecture of the building in the foreground. Its years since I've been to the Torbay area, this has whetted my appetite to get back there sometime in the not-to-distant future.
