Another beautiful shot from this location, perhaps your best of the set so far. I love the reflection in the river and it all works so beautifully in black and white. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

Its a perfect panning shot, great detail and sense of speed. But why is the car going uphill? David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

She certainly stands out in that red dress leaving no doubt whatsoever the focal point of the whole picture. Perhaps it's a little overworked in PP but the image is worth persevering with, you have every reason to consider it a favourite Andrew. A wonderful image - straight out of a TV period drama from the early 20th century. I'm now looking forward to the promised follow up posting tomorrow. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

That's a terrific black and white landscape with strong graphic lines and wonderfully rendered snow. Happy Christmas to you too Jaromir. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

That's an amazing picture. The swirling water combined with the use of a fish eye lens makes the river look like a living, writhing wild creature. Added to this the quality of the image is susperb. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

Victorian churchyards were surely placed there for the benefit of future generations of talented photographers like Andrew. Not much call for snappers lurking around crematoria or snorkelling beneath the waves in search of nostalgic images. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

Its just perfect and it confirms that rules of composition are for beginners, experts know when to break them. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

Impressive and graphic. But unlike Tony I would have preferred a perfect diagonal line, corner to corner, to make it absolutely symmetrical. David Not having the red at a complete diagonal adds leverage in this well spotted image. Tony PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout
