Handheld at 1/16th sec with the lens at 63mm....very impressive even when braced against a rail. David

That's an extremely moving and effective 'street photo.' David

What a viewpoint!! Portland House must be a very high building or you have particularly tall tripod. I really enjoyed picking out some landmarks, especially the London Eye and The Shard. But I failed to spot The Ghurkin. David

Time seems to stand still in the West Country. A land of Miss Marples, country vicars with butterfly nets and district nurses on high bicycles with big baskets..... sorry I'm getting carried away but many of your photos do have a habit of transporting me back to a time dimly remembered or imagined. Now.... where's me sepia tinted spectacles? David

I knew this was yours from the thumbnail....excellent! Likewise. A wonderful moment in time capture. Breaks in the cloud like that are fleeting. David

Lovely misty light. I also think the line of fence and hedge make a strong contribution to the composition. David

I'm not a natural history photographer but I really appreciate classy shots such as this. Beautiful colours, well composed and perfectly sharp. Plus a bokeh to die for. David
