Thanks for the comments. It was a new type of photo experience for me. As for the rear end of the horse...If these had appeared in the order i posted them it would have been the last one up - a tail piece in fact.

Numbers 2 and 5 are the stand out ones for me. Number 2 especially ....... i think many would seek to crop out or remove the photographer but I am glad you didn't.

Thanks Peter... the organisation which staged this event have chosen this image for their Facebook banner.

Thanks Lenny. It really was a privilege to be there photographing these wonderful horses and their owners were such a friendly bunch.

A group of us from Durham Photographic Society were privileged to be allowed to photograph a major horse drawn carriage driving event at Allerton Park, North Yorkshire, a few days ago. Covid restrictions still applied so there were no public spectators so we had virtually a free reign of the estate with only event event officials and competitors on site

It looks like a very interesting narrow gauge railway, well worth visiting and certainly well photographed.

Superb historical documentation of rural life in a remote east European village. Fantastic effort to retrieve and share this body of work for posterity. It makes me wonder what other masterpieces of photography have been lost forever Thanks for sharing Kris..

Love 2 and 7 for the richness of colour. I think they have a very 'film' feel to them

Thanks Gareth, comments are much appreciated.
