I've taken the plunge and moved from film to digital. Understand to get the best results I should shoot in Raw. Tried just a couple of exposures and was unable to downlod. Using k10D, PEF format and PS7. Am I doing something wrong or do I need Raw converter and if I do, how do I use it?
Any advice, after a lifetime, it seems, of film, would be welcome. Really am a complete novice with this medium.

Have just downloaded update 1.03 for *istDL. Will this be OK to upload to my *istDL2 Pentax site lists *istD *istDS *istDS2 but only *istDL. Need to make sure before I end up with expensive doorstop!

I currently use Cullmann DC36 & DC42with the appropiate modules for my LX & MZ5n. Bought myself an *istDL2. Does anyone know if I can get an SCA module to suit. Don't use flash a great deal so unwilling to buy a dedicated gun if I don't have to.
