I like them both, but prefer the colour version..

Not trying to hijack the thread but It gives me a feeling of nostalgia as this was me on the summit 14 July 1965. 100years to the day since the 1st ascent. Original shot on the left, my tarted-up version on the right.

I visit this 700 acre disused quarry near Llanberis quite often.

It is for me, a haunting experience, as everywhere I turn I imagine the generations of quarrymen who laboured here.
