Like them both but the Mono edges it for me (and yes, I'd probably keep the missing wreckage )

I, too, go for colour version. That little bit of colour helps the subject to stand out very well against the bg.

Super photo. For a change (for me) I think the colour just edges it this time.

Both work for me, but the mono really works. Great work here.
