Very good lion portrait, sharp and well exposed.

Someone will probably complain about the barely visible fence, but in this case I don't think it matters.
Thanks Terry.

Both with K-7 and Pentax da 55-300, You may be able to see some of the fence in the first but with zooming I could not get the lens open as wide as i'd have like to take it out.

All RAW files are different, or potentially so, so it is necessary to create a new profile for every new camera.

I normally shoot RAW, but when travelling with the Asus (which doesn't understand RAW) I shoot RAW+. That means I can see what I have shot. In these circumstances, I shoot at lowest quality and resolution to save space. Still not bad, though.

That my thinking George, I have a Panasonic fz28 that I took away on holiday with the wife, I shot only jpeg and very happy with the results.

Thanks for the link Howard, I thought the replies to your post were all very good,
I found the raw converters thread to be very good and spent some time there last night, Sorry to drift a little ot but converting raw has never been a strong point for me but I'm waiting for ACDsee pro to update for the K-7.
