Having thought about, and got advice concerning, alternatives, I still have my mind set on the DFA 100 Macro.

So, if anyone is considering selling theirs, please let me know.

Well it certainly is "my cup of tea."

When I first got my Pentax, in January, my main aim was to get a photo in the gallery. I've now got something like 20 in there, but a few of my favourites have been rejected. I may post them here.

But, like you Mark, I really don't post any more to the gallery as I've got a bit fed up with the hit and miss aspect of it and, to tell you the truth, I've been wondering what does it matter?

I think from now on I'll just concentrate on my portfolio on this forum as those will be photos I do really like.......reminder to self, actually upload some more photos to my portfolio!!

I gather the Tamron 90 is a very good lens, but the DFA 100 has the advantage of being 1:1 rather than 1:2, does it not?

I've been a member here for ages......well, 4 months, anyway. It's a great place, and you will learn a lot. Enter the comps and you'll get really great feedback.
