Does anyone know if I can use my iPhone's 'Personal Hotspot' facility to get an internet connection on the iPad?

The 11" standard is twice as fast as an iPad air

Unlocker: Cost is prohibitive. I can see the benefits, but my iMac is pretty portable at a pinch. The iPad is actually faster than the 11 inch isn't it?
Glowingblue: are you talking about Lightroom?
gartmore: Lightroom?

Does Photogene have the same limitation? It looks good from the reviews.
It would be nice to keep everything in Lightroom, but I suspected that was too good to be true

Still not sure if I should just get a cheap laptop, but the thought of using Windows or trying to find a decent image editor for Ubuntu makes me shudder

I'm not au fait with IPad and the accessories. I assumed I would need to WiFi the images across or wait till I'm back at the Mac, but I can just just use a cable. Wondrous! How did apple let that slip through

I'm spending a lot of time photographing away from home and I'd like to be able to sort through the images and do superficial editing in the evening.
Apparently LR can do this and send the changes to the desktop version when you get back.
But there's probably a catch?

As above, a small WB adjustment would be enough to remove the blue cast all over.
Just to satisfy myself tho', I dropped it into PS, hit auto colour (feelin' lucky) and then faded the result (CMD-Shift-F) to about 30 or 40 percent.
And just for fun, some broad, local adjustment on the foreground to warm it back up after the fade. So, exaggerate the colour change front to back, rather than reducing it.
