Hi all

I upgraded to User Plus today, thinking I could take advantage of the 10% discount offer from SRS on my purchase of a new 100mm 2.8 WR macro lens.

Out of curiosity, I phoned them to ask a question about their trade-in scheme for my 'bit long in the tooth' K10D and thought, as I was doing so, that I would just confirm the discount would apply to this lens.

When I was told that the discount does not apply to lenses, I was somewhat surprised as I assumed a lens was an accessory and, therefore, included in the discount scheme.

Could anyone please confirm that lenses do not fall within this scheme, or was there a misunderstanding on my part?

best wishes

Dave K

if the card reader's built in, probably not. If you've got a seperate reader, it would depend entirely on the spec of that.

Hi Daniel - yes, the card reader is built in to the computer

Thanks,Dave

Hi all

I own a Medion 8383 computer (circa 2004/5, so getting a little long in the tooth now!)and was wondering if anyone could advise me whether or not it would be able to read SDHC memory cards in the card reader?

Many thanks

Hi Jon

Do you have a price in mind for the 12-24?

Many thanksa for all the info, will take time to digest!

The inscription on the lens says Takumar (Bayonet)2.5 135mm. There is no sign of the letter A anywhere - hope this helps. Does this mean I need an M42 adapter or is it a K mount version?

Sorry to be so dim about this (I am easily confused!)and once again, many thanks for your comments

I have just found this somewhat abused lens lying around in an old cupboard at the camera club and was wondering if it could be used on my K10D?

If so, how would I go about setting the camera up to take pictures with it? Presumably, it is more than a case of simply sticking it on the camera!

Any help/advice would be much appreciated, thanks

Recently acquired a 55-300 and first impressions are excellent - go for it!
