I was thinking more along the lines of a K-7.

Spare batteries are dirt cheap, if you're happy with a third party one. The grip for me is essential.

That looks much better Amin! Glad the paper trick helped. Just a couple of points. The right hand glass, with the pale blue/green 'water', has marks on the glass from the liquid. You might have to give it a rinse before doing some more shots, and not leave liquid stood in it when it's level.

And is there a sensor dust spot showing on the middle glass? About a quarter of the way down, just left of centre? Might be a mark on the glass or the background though.

Talking of smoke, when I was in Wales, we were sat in the garden one evening, with an insence stick burning to keep away the mozzies, when I suddenly remembered your smoke shots, so rushed inside and grabbed my camera... Will have to post some of mine, some nice patterns, but not as good as yours.

Tried it with IE8 - didn't work. Tried it with Opera - did work. Tried it again with IE8 and clicked the 'compatability view' button next to the address bar, and it worked then too, so looks like something not right with IE8 (much to the amusement of FF and Opera users everywhere :lol.

Think there's only one or two issues that are actually online, as far as I recall PentaxDan was in the process of getting them sorted so that back issues could be viewed, but perhaps there hasn't been anymore movement on that as yet.

That's the one - all my Kite shots were perfectly level!
