I have to agree with this and all Matt's advise.

I would also add that it looks like you are using studio flash and you are just excepting the flash meters reading. This will try to even it out to a midtone/50% grey including the white background, for this type of high key shot add at least one stop more to the flash meter reading.

That is rubbish, in fact my K-r tends to underexpose compared to my other brand cameras.

Just brought the DA 55-300mm f / 4-5.8 ED lens new in the sale at amazon.co.uk for £135.42 if anyone is thinking of getting one.

The Chinese hood of ebay fits perfectly on my 55-200mm DA if that helps.

My son got married last week and I got roped in to take the photos as my wedding present to them both.

It was a bright sunny day, great for the wedding party but a photographers nightmare, but I managed to get the job done even though wedding photography is not my thing.
