Personally, I think the problem isn't that the shots in themselves are clichés.

It's that in addition, mostly they're not done very well (especially my own, but that's why I don't post very many).

It's much easier to criticise (as opposed to critique) a shot for being a cliché than it is to figure out what's wrong with it.

I don't see much criticism when the shot is actually excellent, even if it is a cliché. Which IMO, it often isn't. Who among us looks at beautiful scenery and thinks "I hate that, I've seen nice views before"?

If I restricted myself only to truly original pictures, I'd probably never take any.

I'm more than happy with a well-executed cliché - better than that is a bonus.

Mazeballs, specially the robins. I love robins.

How do you get them to keep their mouths open? Do you tell them a particularly extraordinary story?

If I'm on holiday, the SD cards get copied to the laptop HDD, and I'd try to have enough SD cards to not need to overwrite any while away.

So two copies till I get home, wherever possible.

I'd never use SD cards as backup unless there really was no alternative. They can fail, and they're small, so easy to lose.

Looking at the inside of that case, there doesn't seem to be anywhere for the PSU to exhaust to, either at top left or bottom left.

So it probably isn't really feasible to relocate the PSU.

Choice of case is IMO the most important decision to make for a PC build. It makes *such* a difference to just about everything you have to do inside it.

Here's one I did... everything is accessible (except the memory, but I don't have to change that very often).

And probably make the camera a bit heavier, unless it's made from some really, really exotic material.

I predict, however, that it will not alter the perspective in the image, unless the photographer also moves the camera...

I did have one mischievous thought though. I'd hate to see what happens when Miggo is unfurled as shown and the camera has worked loose.....
Makes the blood run cold, doesn't it

I think I'd do a fair bit of thorough tugging and stretching over a nice soft surface before I trusted it.
